ANXIETY & PERFECTIONISM
Helping you overcome anxiety and perfectionism so you can break free from self-doubt and get to where you want to be in life.
Do you struggle with not being where you thought you’d be by now?
Maybe you thought you’d have reached a certain point in your career, be in a serious relationship or be married with kids by now. Although you work hard, you’re constantly striving for something better and you never feel satisfied or able to relax, and it’s as if everyone else has it all figured out.
Striving for perfection means you never seem good enough, and this makes you anxious about work, your relationships or your parenting. You worry about people’s judgements of you and get stuck overanalysing and overthinking things.
YOUR FEAR OF FAILURE MAKES YOU GO TO GREAT LENGTHS TO AVOID MISTAKES OR ASKING FOR HELP
Your inner taskmaster sets the bar ever higher, and you risk burnout. Your relationships suffer and you feel lonely even when you’re with others.
You might have read or heard about imposter syndrome
While it explains a lot, it doesn’t stop you from feeling as if you don’t belong, aren’t good enough, and the fear of getting things wrong. You’re often overwhelmed and although you know you’re bright, it’s as if you aren’t excelling in anything.
Psychotherapy will help you to:
Understand what your anxiety is doing to your body, and unroot its causes
Unpick your self-doubt and worry, so you can build self-belief and confidence
Break the negative thought loops and feelings you’re stuck in
Tools to help reduce stress and avoid burnout
Reduce loneliness, make time for yourself and your relationships
Recognise your achievements and build on your strengths
Get clear on where you want to go in life and how to get there
START YOUR JOURNEY TO ACHIEVE THE LIFE THAT YOU WANT
If you can relate, book your free 15-minute telephone consultation, and we can talk about how I can support you.

How long does it take to untangle a tangled up ball of string? Humans are all unique which means there’s no cookie-cutter approach and it all depends on the individual.
Therapy is a joint endeavour between the therapist and patient, and sometimes depends how much work you are willing to put in outside and inside of your therapy sessions.
